Christine Stodilka-Curkowskyj, CFUS President, with Neporany Fellow, Dr. Tamara Hundorova

Based on a bequest made by the late Josaphat Neporany, the Fellowship enables scholars to do research and lecture at an institution of higher learning. The annual value is determined by income, but is approximately $20,000.

Dr. Olena Huzar of the Ternopil National Pedagogical University was the recipient of the Neporany Fellowship in the academic year 2005-06. The Fellowship enabled Dr. Huzar to pursue research on Ukrainian orthography and to teach an advanced Ukrainian language course at St. Thomas More College at the University of Saskatchewan.
