The objectives of the Canadian Foundation for Ukrainian Studies are:

• To give support to Ukrainian Studies, academic research as well as publications, primarily at Canadian universities;
• To assist creative contacts among those active in the field of Ukrainian studies;
• To provide support for the development of resource materials pertaining to Ukrainian language, culture, history, and other aspects of Ukrainian life; also materials needed for the education of teachers.
